Jessie Kohler is Panish | Shea | Boyle | LLP’s Executive Director and is responsible for overseeing the overall non-financial management of the firm. She is also an experienced trial attorney who specializes in labor and employment law, including wage and hour class actions, and cases involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, misappropriation of trade secrets, and breach of contract. Prior to joining PBSR, Jessie was a partner in the Los Angeles office of Winston & Strawn LLP. While there, she primarily represented Fortune 500 companies with regard to their labor and employment issues, including litigation and counseling.
Jessie has successfully tried cases involving claims of harassment, discrimination, breach of contract, whistleblower retaliation and unpaid overtime and is one of the few attorneys in the country who has tried multiple wage and hour class actions to verdict or judgment. She has served as co-lead counsel in a multi-district overtime litigation, as well as coordinated multiple class and collective actions pending nationwide.
Since joining Panish Shea & Boyle LLP, Jessie has represented plaintiffs in wage and hour, sexual harassment, discrimination and business litigation matters. In addition to her litigation and counseling experience, Jessie has been a frequent speaker and trainer on various employment law issues, including sexual harassment, wage and hour laws, and class actions.
Jessie is a graduate of University of California, Santa Barbara and the University of Southern California Law School. She is admitted to practice in California, multiple federal district courts and before the United States Supreme Court.
